Bruichladdich distillery was established by Robert, William & John Gourlay Harvey in 1881 before being rebuilt and reopened under the Bruichladdich Distillery Co in 1886. The distillery was then silent from 1929 to 1938 and had another pair of stills added to the original pair in 1975. The Bruichladdich distillery then lay silent again from 1995 until it was bought by a small independent company of private individuals in 2000.

Colour: Amber.
Nose: Fruity, sweet, intertwined with woody notes, sherry.
Flavour: Melon and caramel.
Finish: Oaky, warming, light sweet sherry.
Comments:  Great balance of fruitiness, sweetness and light oak wood.

Bottling: Duncan Taylor Bruichladdich 1966 - 39yo Single Malt Scotch Whisky.
Cask No: 190.
Colour: Bronze.
Nose: Sweet, soft fruits-peaches and a faint coastal notes.
Flavour: Coastal flavours grow through more soft fruits.
Finish: Delicate - a soft gentle finish.
Comments:  A stunning understated dram.

Colour: Gold.
Nose: Honey, heather and light peat.
Flavour: Candied malt with sweet vanilla.
Finish: Rich and fulfilling.
