Tasting Notes
Bottling: Whisky Galore Caol Ila 1990 - 12yo Single Malt Scotch Whisky. Whisky Galore Single Malt Scotch
Cask No: n/a - 46%.
Colour: Pale gold.
Nose: Sea-breeze. Seaweed and & oak.
Flavour: Oaky creaminess. Rich with smokiness and sweetness.
Finish: Smoky and salty, very smooth.
Comments:  A very classic Caol Ila.

Bottling: Whisky Galore Caol Ila 1990 - 12yo Single Malt Scotch Whisky.
Cask No: 13105.
Colour: Pale gold.
Nose: Sweet, coal, oranges and smoke.
Flavour: Big peat smoke, earthy with soft fruit background.
Finish: Peat smoke, wet ash, keeps developing.
Comments:  A big Caol Ila - Stunning!

Colour: Pale gold.
Nose: Medicinal, smoke - wet smoke, hint of lemon.
Flavour: Dry ash, creamy and coastal.
Finish: Long lasting citrus fruits a peat smoke.
Comments:  A smoky Islay, but yet so much more.

Bottling: Whisky Galore Caol Ila Sherry Cask 1992 - 12yo Single Malt Scotch Whisky.
Cask No: n/a - 46%.
Colour: Rich Mahogany.
Nose: Intense interplay of smoke and sherry.
Flavour: A big smokiness lurks behind the initial rich sherry flavours.
Finish: Long, very long the smokiness continues to develop along with dried fruits and even some citrusy notes.
Comments:  Sherry and Peat - what a combination when it works, and this definitely works!
