Glenburgie distillery is reported to have been established around 1810 and was producing under the name of Kilnflat. The distillery was closed in 1870 and then resurrected as Glenburgie in 1878. Two Lomond stills were added around 1958 and the Glenburgie distillery was known as Glencraig for a short time until the two Lomond stills were removed in 1981.

Colour: Pale gold.
Nose: Big, sweet, and malty.
Flavour: Rich and full-bodied on the palate with a great sense of balance and intrigue.
Finish: Long lingering finish with candied tropical fruit and toffee.
